Warranty Policy
Thank you for choosing Univercycle-ebike. We stand behind the quality of our products and are proud to offer a comprehensive Limited Warranty to ensure you have a great riding experience.
1. Warranty Period
Our e-bikes are covered by a Limited Manufacturer Warranty for the original owner against all manufacturing defects. The warranty period starts from the date of receipt:
- Frame: 2 Years
- Battery: 1 Year (Capacity loss below 60% or manufacturing defect)
- Motor, Controller, and Display: 1 Year
- Other Original Parts (Forks, wiring, etc.): 1 Year
2. What is NOT Covered (Exclusions)
This warranty does not cover damage or defects resulting from:
- Normal Wear and Tear: Consumable components are NOT covered after the product has been used. This includes tires, inner tubes, brake pads, cables, chains, grips, spokes, and paint scratches.
- Improper Assembly or Maintenance: Damage caused by incorrect assembly, lack of maintenance, or installation of incompatible parts.
- Human Error & Misuse: Damage from extreme riding, stunts, accidents, overloading, or commercial use (e.g., delivery services).
- Water Damage: Although our e-bikes are water-resistant, they are not fully waterproof. Damage caused by submersion in water, pressure washing, or riding in heavy rain for extended periods is not covered.
- Unauthorized Modifications: Any alterations to the electrical system, motor tuning, or removing speed limiters will void the warranty.
3. Warranty Claims Process
If you believe your e-bike has a warranty issue, we are here to help. We usually solve issues by sending free replacement parts and providing guidance, rather than replacing the entire bicycle.
To file a claim, please contact us with the following information:
- Order Number and Proof of Purchase
- A detailed description of the issue
- Clear photos and/or videos demonstrating the defect
